Eco-Speed fans with feedback control option
THE
new JetStream System is designed to maximize airflow performance while
minimizing noise levels. It is ideal for applications where an efficient,
low profile fan is required, such as apartment and hotel construction
and high-density residential projects.
The System package consists of a JetStream fan, a Smooth Flow backdraft damper, a snap-fit mounting bracket/anti-vibration mount, and a plug and lead.
There are two models – the JCE152-1, with single-speed centrifugal fan, and the JCE152-3, featuring a three-speed centrifugal fan and integral three-speed switch. While its airflow exceeds similar products in this field, the noise level is measurably quieter.
As well, the patented Smooth Flow backdraft damper saves approximately 92% of pressure drop at 100 L/s. For example, at 100 L/sec, the pressure loss is approximately 30Pa lower than the conventional spring-loaded backdraft damper.
The fan consists of an efficient, backward-curved centrifugal fan in an aerodynamic housing made from fire retardant engineering plastic, incorporating a manual reset thermal overload protection device mandatory for in duct fans.
The specially-engineered, aerodynamic housing design results in smoother, more efficient inlet and outlet conditions for the air. This has allowed an increased airflow with a lower noise level. The JetStream has been fully tested in accordance with IS05801 for aerodynamic performance, and tested and approved to AS/NZS 60335, Parts 1 & 2-80, for electrical safety.
